"Ok, You know Im not one to argue." She ate her meal and put it in the trash. "Tomorow I have a surprise for you. OK Sam. We should get to sleep early so we can wake up early. " She walked over to the bed and layed down. "You coming Samson?" She asked

"I sure am!" hsaid as he jumped up on the bed and curled around Julie's feet. He only wondered about the suprise a small while because he soon fell asleep.

*Morning* Julie woke up. She say that sam was still asleep. She didn't want to wake him so she was silent as a mouse. She went over to the table and sat down. Today the would look for the nearest source of water and food. They would also clean up the home alittle and go looking for things they could use in the home.

When Samson woke up he arched his back then padded over to the table and hoped up. "I'm thirsty." he said outright.

"So am I. Let's look for water first. We could......."She was interupted by the sound og water dripping. It was coming from the back of the cave. She looked at Sam and grabed a flashlight. "Let's go see what that is."

"Ok" he wispered. He didn't know why he was wispering. He followed Julie to the back of the cave and saw that there was water driping off of a stlagtight. (I know that I spelled that wrong.)

"Mabe we could put some typ of bucket there to collect water and then we can go look for a strea and breakfeast. Then I will have to go somewhere,ok."

Sam was still watching the water as he said, "Ok." then he ran around looking under every nook and cranny. When he walked back over to the dripping water he had and old pail that was used to make samd-castles. He didn't know why it was here. There was no sand in miles. But it didn't matter. He slid the pail under the drip became louder as it hit the bottom of the hard plastic pail rather than the soft ground. When there was half an inch of water in the bottom the sound wasn't as loud. He hopped up on the bed and drifted into a contented mid-morning nap as he listened to the steady drip.

While Sam was sleeping Julie went outside with some animal traps she made this morning. She also had some buckets incase she found water. She tied some really long string she found around her waist and the other end to a pointy rock in the cave entrance. She would know how to get back and Sam would know were I am. She set off around the cave and up a large hill. She stopped and listened. She heard running water! She ran to it. It was a huge river! It had the smell of fish in it and there was a water fall suppling it. She got out her buckets and filled them up. She decided she would go back with the water and check on Samson before continuing. She got back to the cave and put the water on the table.

When Julie sat the buckets on the table Sam's ears perked up, then he jumped off of the bed and over to Julie. "Did you leave? Well I guess that it's ovious isn't it." Then he chuckled, "Well, where did you find the water?"

"If you go around the cave and up over the first hill there is a water fall and a huge river."She said "Do you want to help me set traps?"

"Sure! What do I need to do?"

"Can you go around and try to find out where a lot of the animals stay and thats where I'll set a trap. There is 5 traps so we need to find the perrfect places." She said

Samson sat out right away. The first two that he came to where little paths through some tall grass. The next one right outside of a log where he could sent mice and rabbits but he couldn't reach them. The next two where down by a small stream where there seemed to be a lot of tracks. Once he got all of these places fixed in his mind he when back home and told Julie where they where.

She went out and set up traps where he had told her to. She got back and it was about lunch time So she decided to pass time and clean. "Sam, could you go see if there's anything we could use around her as deceration?"

"O and I am waiting for a speacial delivery, so if it comes please tell." She said as she walked outside."If you need me I will be a the river collecting stones."

"Ok!" he said. This would be so fun! He loved searching for things. First he looked along a small grove of trees. All that he found there was a used pie pan. "This could be a good thing," he said to himself, "I've heard that these where good for keeping pesky birds away." Next he looked along a small stream that branched off of the one that Julie was looking in. He found a bright yellow rope and a glass container that had cracks in it but it was still all in one peice. "This would look so good if we sat it out in the sun." He decided to drop his findings back at the house. When he got there he saw a package outside of the cave. He droped his things and ran to the river where Julie was waiting.

"What is it Samson?"She said as she put a few very colorful stones into a bag.

"You pacage is waiting for you at home."

She ran back. "Yes it's here" She said and brought the packege inside.
